Privacy and cookies
This statement applies to this Via Napoli Pasta website. For orders, the privacy statement of our ordering app applies (see section 5).
1. Who we are

2. No cookies, no trackers
This website sets no cookies at all and uses no analytics or advertising tools (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel), no social media buttons that send data and no embedded third-party content (no YouTube, no Google Maps map, no Google Fonts). We do not store anything in your browser either (no localStorage or sessionStorage).
That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. Should this ever change, we will ask for your consent first.
3. Data that is still processed for technical reasons
- Hosting (Vercel Inc.): as with any website, the server receives your IP address and technical details about your browser (type, requested page, time) in order to deliver the page and block abuse. These server logs are kept briefly by Vercel. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Menu and opening hours (Supabase): to show up-to-date prices, availability and opening hours, your browser reads this public data directly from our database (Supabase, servers in the European Union, Paris region). Supabase sees your IP address in the process. No personal data about you is stored.
Both providers act as processors, under a data processing agreement and, for any transfer outside the EU, standard contractual clauses.
4. Map and external links
The map on this site is a plain image (© OpenStreetMap contributors): nothing is loaded from OpenStreetMap or Google unless you click. Links to Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps or OpenStreetMap only open those services when you click them; their own privacy policies then apply.
5. Ordering online
The Takeaway / Order online button takes you to our ordering app (via-napoli-pasta.vercel.app). What happens there (name, phone number, order) is described in the app’s privacy statement.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict your data, and the right to object. Contact us (see section 1). You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
